MBBS Admission in Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Zaporizhzhya State Medical University is a modern, multidisciplinary higher education institution fourth level accreditation with autonomous management. Its history dates back to the Higher Women's Courses organized in Odessa in 1903. In 1959 the educational institution was transferred from Odessa to Zaporizhzhya and renamed to Zaporizhzhya Pharmaceutical Institute, and in 1968 - to Zaporizhzhya Medical Institute.

In 1994, the media received the status of State Medical University of IV level of accreditation, the main tasks of which are the provision of higher education services at the level of specialist, bachelor and master, as well as postgraduate training of specialists in internship, master's degree, postgraduate studies, doctoral studies and advanced training of doctors and pharmacists. In accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 1 / 9-309 of 20.05.2015 we inform that the Zaporizhzhya State Medical University provides educational services to higher education applicants, strictly complying with the provisions of the current legislation.

In terms of staff, the university is among the top three state medical schools: as of January 1, 2018, there are 764 faculty members, including 125 doctors and professors and 475 associate professors and candidates of sciences. Among the scientists of the University, Cor. NAS of Ukraine, 46 members of the International Academies of Sciences and International Scientific Societies, seven honored scientists of Ukraine, four laureates of the State Prize of Ukraine, five laureates of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, two laureates of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prize, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Ukraine, five scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers for young scientists, two scholarships of the President of Ukraine scholarships for outstanding health workers, two excellence in education, two honored coaches, honored journalist of Ukraine, four masters of sports.

Hostels and Others:

Zaporizhzhya State Medical University has its own hostel located within 2-3 minutes walking distance from the University’s campus. The hostels host both girls and boys providing relief to parents about the security of the students. The rooms provided in the hostel are fully furnished with central heating facility present in every room. Rooms are available on sharing basis. Proximity to the University makes it easy for the students as they have to walk 200 meters from the main gate of the University.

Rooms on campus are available to students. All hostel rooms are furnished and vary in size and number of conveniences. Dormitory rooms at Zaporizhzhya State Medical University hostel can accommodate 2 or 3 students in one room. All rooms are equipped with beds, mattress, pillow, blanket, desk, chair, heater, water heaters and suitable lighting for both study and relaxation. There are common areas where students can play and mingle. Upon the student’s arrival on campus, specific accommodations are assigned and after a satisfactory health report, the student will be accommodated to the room which is allotted to him or her. Students who want a single room can also get the same.

Foreign Students Department:

The cultural leisure of the students is varied: there are 36 amateur circles and studios (dancing, national instruments one, folklore ensemble, folk choir “Nadbuzhanka”, 28 sports circles). For more than 40 years, the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnitsa has been training medical personnel from countries of Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe (including Greece, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Middle East, France, Sweden, Canada etc.).
