Why Study in INTI University

The word INTI is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘Essence’. It was chosen as the institutions name to symbolize the philosophy of INTI, which is to develop the innermost part of a person, and therefore to bring out the best in a person. INTI moved into it’s Subang Jaya campus and continued expanding. It established partnerships with University of Liverpool (UK), University of Hertfordshire (UK), Queensland University of Technology, (Australia), University of Otago (New Zealand), and more.

INTI acquired Metropolitan College and PJ College of Art & Design. In 2006, INTI College Malaysia elevated itself to an university college status. This development made INTI University College, the first private university college in Negeri Sembilan. On top of it, it also developed a new 6-storey building on a 0.8 hector plot within Bukit Jambul education township in the Penang Island – accommodating 2000 students. INTI became a member of the Laureate International Universities network. This also coincided with a new 10-storey building in Subang Jaya as part of the redevelopment for INTI College Subang Jaya.

Every year, more and more graduates join the workforce. Among a sea of graduates, there’s only one decisive way to stand out from the crowd and to get the job that you want – to demonstrate outstanding 21 century skills and gain work experience even before you graduate.

Examples of such universities are Monash University, Swinburne University of Technology, Curtin University of Technology, University of Nottingham, Raffles Design Institute and SAE Institute.

Colleges: Colleges in Malaysia mostly function as independent institutions, and they do not have any university statuses. Colleges are meant for transiting into the university level of education. Hence, most Malaysian colleges offer undergraduate degrees or bridge courses for students.

Universities: A number of universities in Malaysia offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. In addition, parent campuses of some of the top universities in countries like the UK, Australia and Ireland have established branch campuses in Malaysia. Branch campuses offer an equivalent degree to students, similar to what they offer at parent campuses, but at an affordable cost.
